R.I.P. Offbeat Mama Planet

Hey ladies! Some of you may have noticed that the Offbeat Mama Planet hasn't been working correctly.

We've hit some technical issues, and honestly I just don't have the resources to deal with them. I'm stretched pretty thin these days, so I've made the decision to take the Offbeat Mama Planet offline. (Offbeat Mama's main blog will continue on same as ever — it's just the "Planet" tab that's going away.)

I'm super sorry about this. For those of you who were members, keep reading.

We'll be taking Monday as a holiday, ostensibly in observation of Independence Day, but realistically just because even bloggers need a holiday every now and then too.

When I first started thinking about Offbeat Mama last fall, the biggest issue for me was wanting to make sure that the site wasn't dogmatic and was welcoming to folks from all sorts of backgrounds. Maybe it's working?
