Hevisaurus is probably the best musical act for that's come out of Finland--at least as far as Offbeat metal loving families are concerned!
One YouTube comment basically sums it up: "GOD DAMMIT finland has metal dinosaurs and in the US we had hannah montana and the jonas brothers, FUCK." Get thee some Hevisaurus! PLUS, one of the dinosaurs is a girl--ladies, we know we can rock just as hard as the guys can, amIright?!
The band's website is in Finnish (and I couldn't get Google translator to translate it!), but their album, Jurahevin Kuninkaat, is available on Amazon, along with the single, Jee Hevisaurus.

That's totally funny. At the beginning he says, "All the kids and short people up to the front, and the tall people, old people and parents to the back!" And then there's a part that says something like "Now it's time to rock! Yeah! Or is it time to go to bed? Noooo!" Something like this would come out of Finland.

This is awesome. Awesome.
There's a lot of things in Finland that make one wonder why they're not popular other places. I listen to Finnish folk music and then try to find other equivalent bands in Norway, Sweden, Scotland, the US…anywhere. They don't exist. There are precious few groups or genres that have dared to be as unusual and stereotype defying (not to mention trend setting) as the Finnish music scene has as a whole.
