New York non-traditional family photography from Milestone Images
Some of you may remember Angela from Milestone Images from when I did a Q&A with her on Offbeat Bride last year. Well, Angela also does family photography in the New York City region, and lordy you ladies are going to love her work...

Angela explains, "My shooting style is candid and relaxed. I really enjoying photographing babies and children where they are most comfortable and at ease. Having all their favorite things at our fingertips makes it easy to bring out their natural smiles. I have a variety of studio lights, backdrops and props that I can bring to you. Of course, you are also welcome to come to my warm, homey studio."
She aims for photos that are unique to each offbeat mama's personality and style, and she told me that "I particularly love skin-on-skin portraits and breast-feeding photographs." She's discrete about sharing these images, and told me, "I can share more of these with clients one on one when they inquire about a session."
Angela says:
Some expectant couples know that they would like a maternity session AND a newborn session. I offer a special deal to mark this special occasion! The first session is $250, but the second one is only $150. Best of all, you also receive a high-resolution CD of water-mark free files of the best selections from both sessions, which is a $100 value. All together you save $200, but the best thing about the "Before and After" sessions is the way the photos compliment each other.
Here's one adorable example!
Angela also specializes in shooting baptisms, baby-naming and welcoming ceremonies, which allows parents, grandparents and godparents to be fully engaged in the event without having to worry about snapping pictures. Even better, she'll get a quick family portrait before the ceremony of everyone who plays an important role in your child's life.
If you want to go get your daily dosage of cute and loving family photography, head over to Angela's blog. And when you're ready to immortalize the important moments in your family's life — book her! Portrait sessions cost $250. Smaller events, such as a baby-naming, bris or baptism, range in price from $350 to $800.

Angie was the photographer at our wedding and then, three years, later, she did a pregnancy shoot for me. She's AMAZING and I love her. What sets Angie apart, in my opinion, is her personality. I realize that it's extremely hard to take beautiful pictures (which she does with ease), but that is an art that someone can learn. You have to be born with the right personality in order to be as successful a photographer as Angie is. She is patient, and funny, and understanding, and everything else you need her to be during the session. I have witnessed her handle extremely stressful situations with ease. I referred her to my best friend and she photographed her wedding, and my sister got engaged last week and already knows she's going to use Angie for her wedding. Once you experience Angie's work, you'll never even think about using anyone else to capture your special moments. If you're thinking about booking Angie, you should take the leap and do it because she's the best.

Angie has photographed so many major events for me and my family — baby shower and pregnancy pictures with me and my husband, baptism, childhood photos of my daughter, etc. Her work is spectacular, and she captures the greatest little moments! She is fun and easy in her approach, and I can't wait for her to document my new baby's early life!!!

Angie has been photographing my children for almost five years. She began taking pictures of my eldest daughter when she was three, and we were moving into a new house. She's photographed weddings for friends of mine, and the candid shots of my family and my daughter from those events are among my favorites. She took pictures of my pregnant belly, took the first portraits of my second daughter, as well as photographing and videoing my second daughter's baptism. Her eye for taking excellent photos, plus her compassion and excitement during each session, are bar none.

What can I really say about Angie's work? She captures the most precious moments of your life. She's documented my impromptu living room wedding, the birth of my 2 year old, his baptism and this past weekend the birth of my newest addition. Her pictures capture the sheer joy and beauty of all the milestones in your life (sorry to sound cheesy but its the only word I could think of) I look at those moments she captured and instantly I'm brought back to those happy moments…oh yeah and she can A. corral little ones and B. corral slightly obnoxious fathers
