Hands off the belly!

cuz this is the belly that you can't touch!

cuz this is the belly that you can't touch!

I'm facially pierced and have tons of visible tattoos, so I did not get touched by strangers during my pregnancy (rude questions, on the other hand, were fair game) but some of you who are a little more approachable might be looking for a nice way to tell those over-zealous strangers to f-off.

Enter this shirt from Discobelly

I was 10 when this MC Hammer song was popular so the nostalgia factor was high with this shirt. Plus, it reminds me of this totally rad flash mob!

Now go look at Discobelly. They have a lot of other nice maternity shirts ranging from novelty to chic.

I have THREE of Discobelly's shirts from my first pregnancy, including this one and the "Larger Than Life" Backstreet Boys one (I gained 67 lbs, so it was apt). I love them! They just fit a little on the small side, but otherwise, LOVELOVELOVE. I'm hoping for a few more for this pregnancy!

I so needed this when I was pregnant!!! I look really young and that brought on rude comments AND touching of the belly! I worked retail so I was always around people and I had people constantly touching my belly. I was hot, irritable, and tired the last thing I wanted was someone rubbing my belly.

one note on discobelly's shirts: while the designs are wonderful and awesome, the shirts run really really small. really small. i am a flat-chested large and could not get the xl i bought over my chest. i gave it to a friend who's a j crew medium when she was pregnant, and it fit her perfectly.

I've wanted this shirt FOREVER. It may actually be the reason I got pregnant. Although reading about the sizing now I'm a little worried since I'm a big-busted L in everyday, non-pregnant life. Oh well, it's still awesome.

HAHA I love those, though I didn't need it. Apparently I'm just bitchy enough looking to NOT get the pat down :D

Yeah, when my fiance doesn't shave for a couple days he looks like mid 30s and he got a lot of looks as well! I seriously had people thinking I was 13 or 14 when I was actually 21!

I almost wish I had a belly to put in this, but then I remember all the peeing and barfing and I'm OK ogling it from afar :) Also, that flash mob is AWESOME.

I wish someone made cool tees like this that fit plus size preggies. I would LOVE something as fun as these, but there's no way those are going to fit if they run that small. Where's the plus size love?
