Gifts for new mama & baby

During the holiday season (and remarkably, months before) we're bombarded with chintzy holiday decoration displays, ever-repeating jewelry commercials and inevitably, gift guides. Poppytalk put together an amazin holiday gift guide for all those little kiddos, Mamas and the relatives and friends who shower them with gifts. Here are a few we REALLY adore:

4114301702_a9d690590f_oPricey, but enormously useful, this Wall Mounted Changing Table is both sleek and practical. The body is made out of bent beech wood and the entire contraption is made out of non-allergenic/non-toxic materials. You can toss the cushion in the washer and wipe the whole thing down with a soft cloth and mild detergent. Put this on your holiday list! It's definitely a gift you'll be thanking them for later.

Slightly creepy, but oh so lovely and a fab way to brighten up a lil tot's room (or closet space, as in Ariel's case!). We love how quirky and realistic these prints are, and so affordable! Dogs, does, polar bears, hedgehogs, frogs and more are available in Berkley Illustrations's Etsy shop.

bunnyEvery babe needs a snuggle bunny! This cute little plush rabbit will become your baby's favorite naptime buddy. Made with organic denim and linen, recycled flannel and stuffed with recycled polyfil, this handmade toy is green as well. It even comes with it's own carrying bag so it can be toted to Gramma's house and back, and beyond. (PS: In Become Smitten's Etsy shop you can find more fun animal creatures to choose from!)

For more outrageously super great baby and Mama gifties, you can check out Poppytalk's Kids Holiday Gift Guide where you can find everything from adorable kiddie kitchenware and understatedly classic die-cut wooden cloud plaques to soy crayons and cutesy unique onesies.

I love the Wall Mounted Changing Table, but at $750 (for the table alone, not including the pad or cover, etc), I can think of other things I'd rather have! Like monthly massages for a year!

Love, love, LOVE the Wall Mounted Changing Table… I am always willing to spend a lil'extra cash on something that looks cool AND saves space. That is possibly the mantra of every couple dwelling in the inner-city, so I doubt that is offbeat lol!

I'm thinking we need some handy carpenters to put together a less expensive one. I'll look for my idea to pop up on Etsy!

The wall mounted baby changing table seems like a great idea, I love it!! I agree $750 is alot to spend. I am pretty sure I am just going to make one for around $50 :)
The bunny looks cute, I would be scared of it getting wrapped around the baby's neck??

Wall changing table is a great idea, I bet you can get plastic ones similar to those in Target restrooms and jazz it up a bit
